You might be wondering—why Betty Collectables?

The name was inspired by a remarkable woman who lived just down the street from me growing up. Betty was an elderly lady with the spirit of someone half her age. She’d run, jump, and play with all of us neighborhood kids, dressing like she was 35 and cruising around town in her Mustang, always wearing the biggest smile. She was the kind of person who made everyone feel seen and valued, always ready to lend a helping hand.

Her energy, kindness, and zest for life left a lasting impression, and I wanted my store to reflect that same sense of joy and community. Betty’s legacy reminds us that it’s not about age—it’s about how you embrace life and the connections you make along the way.
